Beijing 2008 isn't doing anything all that new, but it's undeniably addictive. If you've got an urge to twiddle an analogue stick faster than any human knew was possible you can do a lot worse.

I bought this game and even bought an Xbox 360 controller as i have a PC, anyway i can seem to build up speed it says move the analogue stick or tap buttons (use the stick) no speed i have tried to calibrate this more times that i can remember. Am i doing something wrong.

The PS3 version looks horrible in an 1080p TV compared to the XBOX 360 version.
Why on earth the PS3 version is only 720p I do not know, but unless that sony starts to release all games in 1080p resolution I will be buying the XBOX 360 versions.
