To celebrate the reveal of Battlefield 4's multiplayer, DICE is giving away Battlefield 3's second expansion pack Close Quarters for free to all Battlefield 3 players.

A page on the official Battlefield website with details on how to download the expansion pack should soon be available here. The DLC normally costs £11.99/1200 Microsoft Points.

Battlefield 4's multiplayer was revealed earlier today during EA's E3 press conference. The game features 64-player multiplayer and reintroduces Commander Mode, a fan-favourite mode from Battlefield 2 which lets a single-player issue commands and call in remote military support.

Commanders will also be able to take command using an iPad or Android tablet.

Close Quarters is my least favourite of the DLC packs. But you can be pretty sure this is being done to pull in the COD fanbase, since there's no vehicles and it's all close quarters infantry fighting.
