It's important to support games post release says DICE.
Battlefield 1943 was one of the most successful downloadable games of 2009, topping the Xbox LIVE Arcade sales chart and setting new records on home consoles. However, following the unlockable Coral Sea map, no additional content has been made available for the multiplayer-only FPS.
This looks sure to change, though, with Battlefield executive producer Karl-Magnus Troedsson suggesting DLC is on the way.
"There's one important piece to this puzzle, and that's that we need to take care of our products post-launch. We haven't released any premium DLC for 1943, for instance, which feels like a natural step to take," he said.
