More free Batman DLC out tomorrow

Prey in the Darkness Map Pack for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Eidos has announced that Prey in the Darkness, the second free downloadable map pack for Batman: Arkham Asylum, will be available beginning September 24 on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

The DLC features:

Heart of Darkness FreeFlow Combat map: Players will battle a mob of relentless and maniacal enemies at the Arkham Pumping Station. Even the most seasoned Batman: Arkham Asylum player will enjoy stepping into the boots of Batman to take down increasingly difficult waves of insane inmates.

Hothouse Prey Invisible Predator map: Players will have to rely on their Predator instincts to silently and effectively take down enemies at the Abandoned Glasshouse.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is available now for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Finally a game where you only have to purchase the game, and not purchase the down loadable content as well... :) Left 4 Dead, and Batman are making history.

Surely these additonal packs will make getting medals easier? The achievment descriptions just say to get # of medals, none of them specifically exclude DLC.

It is really quite cool of Eidos to keep giving us this stuff for free. Looks like publishers are finally wising up, keeping us from trading the game in and thus making more people buy it new rather than pre-owned.

I am too addicted to getting 100% in the full game to have really tried the DLC from last week. need two more f-ing medals one on shock and awe extreme and one on rumble in the jungle extreme, and I'm done. I was fifty points off the rumble in the jungle one earlier, which those of you who have played it will know that finding a extra punch in a combo

I went out and got this on the 360 but have been stuck on madden for a while i'll fire it on later this evening. Is the previous DLC pack free aswell?
