Batman sales near two million units

The Eidos/Square Enix action title is a massive hit.

Eidos and Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Asylum has sold almost two million units. That's according to a passing reference to the game in an LA Times article focussing on the restructuring of DC Comics.

Batman: Arkham Asylum went on sale on August 25 and August 28 in the US and Europe respectively. A PC version is scheduled for release on September 18.

In the UK the game has spent two weeks at the top of the All Formats Chart, while early sales in the US were over half a million units.
