There are a couple of superheros without super powers. There is Green Arrow, The Punisher and even the super villans like Lex Luthor and the Joker.

I agree with what you say. - it is certainly the most critically acclaimed crime fighting hero game. - or in The Dark Knight's case...freak fighting hero game!

However, I have no problem with the award it receives. - The game is fantastic. To me, this is the official "The Dark Knight" game that could have been released with the movie.

It has the right amount of dark theme, detective work, skillful learning curve and story that does Batman justice.

Being locked up in Arkham with Joker in command - he certainly is a Super hero!

This game is a classic, and i'm expecting more batman games coming from Rocksteady! on the subject that batman is not a super-hero. I believe he is not. Now you could say that Batman is a hero or champion of Gotham city, but super?! just look at that term "super" you have "Super" then you have "hero". Meaning Hero is someone who has the will, strength and ability to fight against justice and save people etc.. now "super" means he has above and beyond ability's than any hero or human being. (Like Superman, spiderman and etc). To be a super hero you must have powers, and cant die easy. In Arkham Asylum, the bat mortality was frequently exposed during gunfire. Put it like this. The Bat is a highly trained martial artist with a arsenal of weaponry on his side, thanks to his immense wealth. he's also a crime fighting hero. so there you go. The bat is human like anyone else. Heck if you trained me in all the martial art moves out there, and give me all of his weapons. Then HEY I can be the bat too! lol..

Im not surprised if the game has made a new world record. I have had the game since thursday thanks to Shopto.net, and I have only done 17% of the game and 9% of the challenges.

Its pushing towards a 10/10 in my books.

Do not forget his superhuman intellect, second only to, maybe, Sherlock Holmes.

In my eyes Batman IS a Super Hero - always has been and always will be.
No arguing that he is a hero but people say that he isn't a Super hero due to lack of powers. He has above human abilities wether it be agility, fighting skils, intelligence, will power and this is what makes the character a Super Hero - just because he has had to dedicate his life to achieving and perfecting these abilities as oppossed to a freak accident, mutation, coming from another planet etc is irrelevant - he still has beyond regular human abilities.

He is the one hero that Superman respects and fears - this alone earns him the title of a super hero.
