Arkham Asylum to get Game of the Year Edition

No details on what the re-release might include.

Eidos' Batman: Arkham Asylum was one of our favourite games of 2009, and it seems a lot of you guys liked it too - so much that a sequel has already been announced. While we wait for the Warner Bros. Interactive follow-up to appear, we'll just have to play the original game again, or maybe not.

According to a listing on the BBFC website, Eidos will be releasing Batman: Arkham Asylum - Game of the Year Edition. Sadly there are no details at the moment other than a BBFC 15 rating, so it's anyone's guess as to what the re-release might contain. Presumably it'll include all the released DLC, and maybe some extra stuff too.

I have no problem with Game of the Year editions,
No-one has to buy them?
It's just a recognition that this game was awesome.
I also love Xbox 360 Classics,
Don't see what problem there is to have with them...

Great, GOTY editions annoy me because, they must have already sold well to get it GOTY status. So all GOTY editions are for are late comers and a small percentage who didn't pick it up first time

They tend to be for gamers that haven't played the game over the year and give them all DLC that has been released over that year to sweeten the deal. So no I find them fine. There is no compulsion to make me want to buy a GOTY edition when I already have the game.

Anyone getting a bit bored of 'Game of the year ' additions ? Especially ones that force you to trade in the worthless original you have to spend £25-£30 to get it .
