Gearbox's Aliens is still alive

Work on the project continues with SEGA and 20th Century Fox.

Gearbox has been hitting the headlines over the weekend thanks to a certain Duke Nukem, but what of the studio's sci-fi FPS Aliens: Colonial Marines?

It turns out the game is still under development at the Dallas, Texas-based dev house, though co-founder Randy Pitchford wasn't able to say much more than that during the studio's weekend panel at PAX.

In addition to confirming that the project remains active, Pitchford showed some artwork for the game. An updated release date was not given.
