Creative director explains funding struggles for Alan Wake 2; Remedy "worked hard to make the sequel happen".
Remedy, developer of Alan Wake, is believed to have begun teasing a new game in the Alan Wake franchise.
Remedy Entertainment, creator of the multi-million selling Alan Wake franchise, has announced the development of a "project targeted at future generation consoles".
"Alan Wake's like a cult classic if you like... People who have played and enjoyed the story feel the urge to tell their friends and other gamers out there that they need to try this experience," says Remedy.

Following earlier rumours, Finnish developer Remedy has confirmed at a London press conference that Alan Wake will be released for PC in Q1 2012.
First screenshot shows Alan standing in front of a motel. He also appears to be in different clothing to what we're used to, and he's holding a nail gun.
Will be an Xbox LIVE Arcade game, not a typical sequel released at retail.
