Alan Wake XBLA is really ambitious, claims VGAs host

It's essentially Alan Wake 2.

The Alan Wake Xbox LIVE Arcade game, rumoured to be title Bright Falls, could be considered Alan Wake 2, Spike Video Game Awards host Geoff Keighley has told Major Nelson.

The game will get its full reveal at the award show this Saturday and Keighley believes fans are going to be very excited by the title.

"I've seen the game, seen the trailer we're showing and even though it's going to be a downloadable game, it's not a small game," said Keighley.

He added: "It effectively is, I think, Alan Wake 2 when you really look at it and what they're doing with that game. It's really ambitious, beautiful technology and I think people are really going to be excited about it."

Remedy has said the game will be structured like a full retail release.
