Germany's video game rating board titles Remedy's new game.

The standalone Alan Wake game for Xbox LIVE Arcade is to be unveiled at this weekend's Video Game Awards, but it appears Germany's video game rating board has let the cat out of the bag.

According to a rating for the game, Alan's latest will be titled Alan Wake's American Nightmare.

So, unless Microsoft and Remedy are working on more than one new Alan Wake game, this seems almost certain to be the name of the XBLA title.

The VGAs will take place in the early hours of Sunday morning UK time.

Can't wait, I really liked the first which isn't my normal style of game

I bet they are definitely working on Alan Wake 2. This XBLA will no doubt be a teaser for fans till we get the second. I liked the first Alan Wake very much. Still need to play through the DLC, but I only have one piece of the DLC.
