Alan Wake re-emerges with stunning new trailer

See Microsoft and Remedy's highly anticipated game in HD glory.

It's been a long time coming (so long in fact that some claimed the game was dead), but a new trailer for Remedy and Microsoft's Alan Wake has been released, and you can see it in HD right here.

A bunch of new screen shots have also been released, which you'll find over in the Alan Wake gallery. They show some locations not seen in the trailer, so are well worth a look.

Can't wait for this. Will probably get it on PC unless I have a new TV by then, as mine doesn't like the dark. Hopefull a Core 2 Duo, 4gb of ram and two 8800GT's should cover it.

It sounds to me it was made for the pc and then ported to console. It will be only a vista game so you need windows vista. It doesn't have dx10 yet so the graphics will be better.

I just heard it over at BrightFalls.net mate. And I was the original poster of this news. Check the Forums! One of the guys there whois extremely tight with the developers is the Source so don't shoot the messenger.

Bull

U have it on gopod authority? LOL, bull crap, the game has dx10 which consoles cannot even do, it is nto just a console port, remedy is a strong PC developer. It is a showcase DX10 game for MS, the console versiobn will look worse as is usually the case. It is also not a primary 360 game, it is 360 and PC simultaneous release, with the Pc version being made from the ground up.

I just shot my load that looks awesome. Just wondering if it was my tip off that got the news article? :P

PS. Have it on good authority that everything you see is 360 based and strangely this will be ported to PC as the primary release is for the 360. Microsoft Studios are keen on the game being shown to the almost full potential of capabilities for the 360 as this will be another flag ship 360 exclusive.
