Ace Combat 6 demo fires past one million downloads

Atari and Namco Bandai celebrate latest milestone for the aerial combat title.

Atari has today announced that the playable demo of Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation for Xbox 360 has surpassed one million downloads worldwide on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

"There's no excuse for anyone with an Xbox Live account not to have tried this demo by now, and hopefully the sheer numbers of people already taking to the skies will encourage those still in the hangar to taxi onto the runway and light 'em up," said Mathieu Piau, Product Manager, Atari Europe. "The demo provides a tantalizing taste of the full-throttle experience gamers will be able to enjoy once the title launches in Europe this November complete with full online multiplayer dogfights."

Ace Combat 6 is being developed exclusively for Xbox 360 and features stunning visuals, online multiplayer for up to 16-players, and new gameplay features to make ruling the skies even more exciting.
