Ace Combat 6 confirmed for Xbox 360

Namco Bandai's Ace Combat series is heading to the Xbox 360 with the release of Ace Combat 6.

Ace Combat is the premiere aerial combat series for the home video game console and has been a staple series for the PlayStation, and later the PlayStation 2 and PSP. It's now been revealed, inside the pages of Famitsu, that the series is to appear on the Xbox 360 - the first time the series will appear on a non-Sony platform.

Early reports indicate that the game will feature a main campaign which will see the player involved in a war between two huge armies. It's also believed that the game will include online co-op and versus multiplayer.

There's not really any more information to offer at this time, other than the game is scheduled for release in 2007.
