New evidence suggests there could be a rush on terrifying fish-man hybrids this holiday season.
An eagle-eyed Andriasang spotted that Seaman creator Yoot Saito has tweeted some concept art of his terrifying creation decked out in a festive Santa outfit (how do these clothes stay so fresh when underwater?), possibly suggesting a holiday revival of the much-loved, but quite scary, 1999 Dreamcast original.
A report from way back in February by Japanese newspaper Nikkei said that Nintendo was looking to throw the series back into the hectic oceans of the present.
The 1999 Dreamcast original gave you a slightly terrifying fish-man hybrid for a pet, and had you direct him about with voice commands. The obvious command of "oh good lord why are you so terrifying, you weird fish-man hybrid" was sadly not recognised.
