Need for Speed Most Wanted revealed

EA announce Need for Speed Most Wanted for every platform imaginable.

EA has finally announced the game that has been known about for months. Need for Speed Most Wanted will release for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Nintendo DS, GBA, PC, PSP and an as of yet unannounced next-gen console (presumably Xbox 2).

The game is under development at EA Canada and will challenge players to become the most notorious street racer ever. Players build up their street cred to become one of the most wanted racers on the streets. Players will go head-to-head with rivals on the streets and take on as many a twelve cop cars at once.

"Out-race your opponents, evade cops and exploit the open world in Need for Speed Most Wanted; street racing doesn't get any better than this," said Larry LaPierre, senior producer, EA Canada. "Players instantly will feel the thrill of the ride as they hit the streets in an open world environment where drivers can tune their cars to compete against any class of vehicles or use their wits to out-fox the law to satisfy their need for speed."
