Ubisoft has announced the off-road racer Monster 4x4 World Circuit, for release on the Xbox.

Take control of the world's most powerful trucks and race head-to-head in off-road competitions in locations all over the world, from the desert in Egypt to the snow covered mountains of Russia. When racing your aim is not only to win, but to pull off stunts and destroy everything in your path. Doing so will earn you money which can be used to soup up your truck's performance, making it go faster, jump higher and destroy more stuff.

The game features 40 events which you must race through in the Monster League Championship mode and prove that you are the best truck racer. If you're not ready to take on the opposition for real then a Quick Race mode is available for you to master your tricks and learn the best way to race on each circuit.

The game will also feature a multiplayer mode for up to four players in split-screen races as well as a number of mini-games. The game is scheduled for a March release in North America. There is no word on a European release at this time.
