Former Bungie composer Marty O'Donnell has settled a legal dispute against the developer's CEO Harold Ryan, winning $95,019 for unpaid work and damages, Venture Beat reports.

The settlement follows O'Donnell's termination from the company in May, which he claimed was "without cause".

According to the report, Ryan will pay O'Donnell more than $38,385 in unpaid work and accrued holiday time, and another $38,385 for damages. Attorney fees and interest takes the total to $95,019.13.

Bungie has yet to publicly state why O'Donnell was fired from the company but wished him "luck in all his future endeavours". He had worked there since 2000, contributing to the soundtracks of the Halo series.

O'Donnell's work will still feature in Destiny, due to release on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in September.
