Halo Waypoint to launch this autumn

A new Xbox LIVE destination for all Halo fans.

Microsoft has announced that this autumn it will launch Halo Waypoint, a new destination for Halo fans on Xbox LIVE.

The digital destination will inform fans of the latest Halo news and activities, and grant access to content ranging from podcasts, trailers and screenshots, to exclusive video footage you won’t find anywhere else. It will also provide a new challenge for Halo gamers with a career system and player rankings tied to both in-game and out-of-game accomplishments related to Halo.

Halo Waypoint will host a preview of the recently announced Halo Legends anime series this autumn. Additionally, Waypoint will debut several behind-the-scenes videos that chronicle the making of Halo Legends.

I think Microsoft should calm down on Halo and try something else. If they keep bringing out all these Halo games, its just gonna bore gamers.
They should have another crack at Perfict Dark and try to get as much of the orginal team back from the N64 version.

I suppose this is just the first step at shifting the Halo (franchise) traffic away from bungie.net - when they eventually go on to do other things.
