In its third week Capcom's Lost Planet is showing no signs of slowing down and for the second time finds itself at the top of the All Formats chart. In 2006 Capcom only managed a solitary week at the top, with Dead Rising also on the Xbox 360. Sales of Lost Planet are up 20% compared to the three week sales of its zombie gore fest.
FIFA 07 and Pro Evolution Soccer 6 are still going strong at No.2 and No.3 respectively, Wii Play jumps back into the top ten at No.4, and The Burning Crusade takes a dive and is now found at No.5.
It's also a great week for Nintendo, with a record eight games in the Top 40, beating even EA which currently has seven. World Championship Snooker 2007 also continues to perform well, falling one place in the All Formats chart, but topping the PS2 chart.
New releases didn't have a great week, with Rocky Balboa (No.3 in the PSP chart) and Star Fox Command (No.8 in the DS chart) failing to make the All Formats Top 40.
There's a flurry of new releases coming this Friday, but it seems unlikely that any will challenge right at the top of the chart. Those likely to chart inside the Top 40 include Sega Mega Drive Collection, NFL Street 3, Little Britain and the movie licensed Arthur and the Invisibles.
