Developer of LoTR: The Two Towers, Eragon and The Spiderwick Chronicles has been forced to close.
After nearly 20 years in the business, video game developer Stormfront Studios has been forced to close because of failure to secure publishing deals for new projects.
A rep from the developer explained the news to Next-Gen in a phone interview, stating: "Frankly, we didn't get pitched, and the project [we were working on] made no revenue."
Stormfront created Stronghold, the first RTS to use a 3D perspective, went on to work on many projects for EA and has more recently been working on the film licenses The Spiderwick Chronicles and Eragon.
