50 Cent: Bulletproof News for Xbox

Unlike here in the UK where a game can receive a BBFC 18 rating, games in Australia are limited to the MA15+ rating, meaning any game which is deemed unsuitable to those aged 18 or under will not be allowed a classification. This is what has happened to 50 Cent: Bulletproof, with excessive violence and in particular the way violence is portrayed in the game, proving to be particularly offensive to the OFLC.

The OFLC has highlighted particular aspects of the violence which have lead to the game's non-classification: Killing victims who moaned or begged for their lives, shooting characters as they attempt to crawl away, and blood spattering on the screen. VU Games have been given the option to resubmit the game in a toned down form in order to have it passed with a MA15+ rating.
