You'd think this is really going to hurt sales only being available 4 hours a day, just for the sake of rules in one country in an entire continent?

This is really annoying, but I guess there isn't much Nintendo can do about it in the short term. In the long term they NEED to change their system so that the birth date given in the Nintendo ID is what restricts children from buy the games from the Eshop and so arbitrary thing that everyone has to endure. But on the other hand, if a child wants to download an 18 rated game for Wii U off of the Eshop, they are probably smart enough to lie about their age or just make another Nintendo ID.

I hate the way some people have responded this on the internet though "Nintendo are stupid, they should pack up and move their HQ Germany". As if it's that easy to move an entire European HQ to another country....
