Nintendo may only have Super Smash Bros., Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 lined-up for its Wii U autumn/winter slate, but 2015 is looking pretty packed.

Looking ahead to 2015, Nintendo UK has said the following games will be released at some point during the year.

  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Splatoon
  • Xenoblade Chronicles X
  • Devil's Third
  • Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
  • Yoshi's Woolly World
  • Kirby(working title)
  • Star Fox (working title)
  • Mario Maker (working title)
  • Project Giant Robot
  • Project Guard
  • Mario vs. Donkey Kong (working title)
  • Mario Party 10
  • Art Academy (working title)

That's a pretty impressive list of Nintendo published releases set for a 12 month period, and the Wii U needs them given third-party offerings look set to dry up even further.

Mario Maker looks like it might be a lot of fun really, and I'm super excited for Captain Toad. I'll also be really happy when the new Zelda game comes out; not to fussed about Hyrule Warriors tbh, but an actual zelda game will be fantastic.

Zelda, Star Fox, and Splatoon, and eventually Xenoblade. Captain toad is going to be cheaper then most Wii U games and I get the feeling Mario Maker will probably be a downloadable game, so I might pick those up too depending on the situation.

shouldn't The Legend of Zelda have "working title" next to it, too?

For me, I'll be getting :

-Xenoblade Chronicles X,
-Star Fox (working title),
-Kirby(working title),
-The Legend of Zelda,

and maybe, Mario Party 10.

Not really that interested in the others.

Along with Pikmin 3, Hyrule Warriors, Super Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Country : Tropical Freeze, Smash Bros, Monster Hunter and some old games on the Virtual Console like Megaman X2 (which I never got to play back in the day); yeah, sounds like a good time for a year or two whilst we wait to see how the "next gen" with MS and Sony pans out.

Looking forward to ditching Achievements too. They've been a blight on my life for years.

It's all about Zelda isn't it, really? I bought a Wii U after E3 just for it. So excited. The other 1st party games are great, but Zelda is the big one.
