Straight Right, the developer behind the upcoming Wii U port of Mass Effect 3, is also "porting a triple-A Square Enix game" to the console, the CV of one of the studio's employees has revealed.

According to NeoGAF, the LinkedIn profile of project manager Chris Slater states that he's "working for Straight Right on a short term contract, porting a triple-A Square Enix game to the yet-to-be-released Wii U platform."

Slater's CV led to speculation that Straight Right could be porting Tomb Raider to Nintendo's console.

Earlier this year, however, Crystal Dynamics appeared to deny rumours that its game was headed to Wii U.

"If we started building a game for the Wii U we would build it very differently and we would build it with unique functionality," CD community manager Meagan Marie said.

"When we started developing the game we made a conscious decision that it was all about building the game for a platform and making sure the game was specific to that platform. Given that we've been working on the game quite a while before Wii U was announced I think it would not be right to try and port it across."

Straight Right CEO Tom Crago has stated previously that his studio is "working on a well known franchise" for Wii U in addition to Mass Effect 3.

"We've made a few bets on Wii U actually so we're certainly hoping it does well," Crago told Polygon.

"In addition to ME3 we have an original Wii U title in development, and we've started on another big game in a well known franchise that will be released in 2013."

So what could the mystery Square Enix game be? Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII? Hitman: Absolution? Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

Square Enix told that it "cannot comment on rumours or speculation" when contacted about Straight Right's project.

Deus Ex would be awesome on Wii U, but so would Hitman. If it's either of those, I'll be happy, but I very much doubt that Hitman would be out any time soon, and I'm not waiting around to play it on Wii U... well, not too long anyway.
