Warner Bros. has announced the Injustice: Gods Among Us Season Pass, available to buy for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game at launch.

The Season Pass grants players access to four additional DLC packs on their release, each featuring a new fighter for the upcoming DC Comics brawler, plus "exclusive access" to a Flash Point Skin Pack, featuring alternate costumes for Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Deathstroke.

The pass will cost 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE and £11.99 on PlayStation Network, and represents a 25 per cent saving on purchasing the characters individually.

The Season Pass appears to be skipping a release on Wii U, but it isn't yet known whether the content will be available to purchase separately on Nintendo's platform.

We've checked in with a Warner Bros. representative to ask.

Injustice: Gods Among Us launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on April 19.

The Mighty Bat DLC isn't on offer over here - so here's hoping it sees a general release not too long after launch. Hate it when publishers offer funky things in certain regions, but not all!

I just cancelled my pre-order for the collector's edition from my usual go-to store, since for some reason they are including an exclusive "Mighty Bat" DLC pack, with Zombie Mode, Blackest Night and Batman: Arkham City character skins, as well as a free copy of Dark Knight Rises on DVD with the normal edition of the game, but are refusing to include the bonuses with the more expansive collector's edition.

Found another local retailer which are including the Red Son skins and missions with their pre-order so I'm probably gonna go for that.

The game's looking kinda interesting actually, with story missions which seem to go beyond the usual fighting modes. I loved DCU vs Mortal Kombat and I've always been a huge fan of MK, so I'm looking forward to seeing this game in action.

400 msp per character (non-discounted), funky skins, and the quality of the Mortal Kombat IX DLC add-ons was very high (even if it didn't include Frost, lamentably).

Yep, I'll most certainly be going for this!
