Worth a look

There hasn't been a really great JRPG released in some time, with some believing the genre is a dying breed. Trying to buck the trend, surprisingly, is the Wii, with Xenoblade Chronicles. The game has arrived at an awkward time for review (gamescom in Germany takes place this week), but people who know what they're talking about like what they've seen - Jamin's JRPG-sense certainly went off when the game arrived in the office. It also seems that the fate of the game in the US depends on how the game sells in Europe, so if you've got a JRPG-loving US friend you owe it to them to pick this up.
