Analyst expects huge sales for Nintendo's peripheral-based title.
According to Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter, Nintendo's Wii Fit - which is scheduled for release across the US on May 19 - could sell up to four million units in that market alone.
"Wii Fit will sell 3 million to 4 million in the US if they market aggressively," Pachter told the New York Post.
Aggressive marketing is just what Nintendo is planning; Pachter has learned that the platform holder intends to spend a huge $40 million on promoting Wii Fit, the largest marketing spend in the company's history.
The non-traditional game title has already sold over 1.5 million units in Japan and appears well on its well to reaching two million unit sales.
Wii Fit will actually be released across Europe before the US and should be in stores from April 25.

Wow! They are some high numbers. I think that's quite impressive actually. I always knew it would do well in Japan, but I never thought it would be this successful in the US. I wonder how it will do here in the UK when it's released at the end of the month?
