See Becker play Federer in Top Spin 3

All-star line-up for the latest instalment in the Top Spin series.

2K Sports has announced the line-up of professional tennis players that are to feature as playable characters in its forthcoming video game Top Spin 3. The game will feature current superstars such as Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova and Andy Murray, plus three legends of the game: Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg and Monica Seles.

"With Top Spin 3, we wanted to give gamers the choice to play with their favourite tennis players, as well as classic legends, an option that no other tennis game is offering," said Chris Snyder, Director of Marketing for 2K Sports. "Boris Becker, Bjorn Borg and Monica Seles have given the game of tennis such great history, and we are excited to have them join the current roster of professionals in the most realistic tennis video game to date."

The Top Spin 3 player line-up includes the following:

Tomas Berdych
James Blake
Roger Federer
Tommy Haas
Justine Henin
Svetlana Kuznetsova
Amelie Mauresmo
Gael Monfils
Andy Murray
Rafael Nadal (will only feature in the PS3 version)

Maria Sharapova

Classic legends - not available on all platforms

Monica Seles

Top Spin 3 is currently in development by PAM Development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii and Nintendo DS and is slated for release this spring.

Then without all them, they come along and tell us people that have xbox (like me!) That we wont get Nadal either. It really is an awful line up what a joke and the Nadal for PS3 only its just pouring salt on the wounds. I cant see myself buying this game unless its drastically improved. (ie: LOTS and LOTS of downloadable players)

I disgree with top spin putting unknown Woziacki where as some interesting players like Maria Kirilenko or Tatianna Golovin are totally absent... and it's true where's Djokovic and Gasquet in all that ? - Why did they put philipousis instead of those to great players ?

You should also think of putting in some rookies like John Isner and when you are playing you should make it a little bit more fast pace... but not to fast

You should totally think of putting in Richard Gasquet - Ferrero - and you should have Nadal in both systems. And good move putting in Borg... lol
