If you love the MotionPlus controls offered in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and were worried that future games in the series would drop that control style, worry no more. Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has confirmed that motion controls will be returning to Zelda games in the future.

"I honestly think we cannot go back to button controls now, so I think that these controls will be used in future Zelda titles, too," he told Official Nintendo Magazine. Analysis

This is good news considering the MotionPlus controls in Skyward Sword are one of the reasons the game scored an impressive 10/10 in our Skyward Sword review. How motion controls work with the first Zelda game for Wii U remains to be seen.

Seeing as the next Zelda will most likely come out on WiiU i wonder how is it that we're going to be using motion plus with it. If i'm not mistaken i think we'll be able to use Wii controllers on WiiU but doesn't that defeat the purpose of getting a WiiU? And then people will have to buy or re-use a motion plus wii controller in order to use this feature since i don't see the WiiU having a motion controller like the Wii.
