The Buzz: Game Informer magazine reports that a new Zelda game for the Wii has already been in development for a year.
The latest issue of US magazine Game Informer reports that an all-new Zelda game for the Wii is already in development, and has been for a year.
"Our sources tell us that the next instalment in this series has been deep in development for around a year. It's highly unlikely that Nintendo would release two Zelda games a year apart, but don't be surprised if this game comes up sooner than you think," reports the magazine.
Good news for Wii Zelda fans there, but it's not all good news. Game Informer also reports that The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the DS has been delayed and will now be released in North America in October 2007.
If true this could mean we won't see the game in Europe until Christmas 2007 or, if Nintendo Europe's track record is anything to go by, perhaps as late at Q1 2008.

Well indeed, the DS is multi-region so it doesn't really matter. I'm definitely looking forward to it though, I reckon it has the potential to be something truly unique among Zelda games.
The other DS game I'm really looking forward to is Hotel Dusk 215 which I believe currently has a Q1 2007 release in US/Europe.
