Nintendo has revealed that the GameCube version of The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess has been pushed back to a December release.
The Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess had for a long time been regarded as the swansong title for the Nintendo GameCube. Even after the announcement that the highly anticipated title would also be released for the Wii, GameCube owners around the world could still look forward to one last great game.
News coming from a Q&A session following Nintendo's Wii press conference in North America now puts the GameCube release of Twilight Princess as December 11, several weeks after the game will debut on the Wii.
Whilst no doubt a clever move from Nintendo to get fans of the game to snap up a Wii on launch, it's still a kick in the teeth for GameCube owners - after all, the game was intended to be released well before the Wii hit the market.

This is absolutely not a ruse to get people to buy the Wii with the game instead of waiting for the GameCube one with less gimmicky controls. No way.

I can't picture myself shooting dozens of arrows by pulling back on the wiimote for each arrow like I had to do at E3. Aside from better lighting and widescreen support, I'm looking forward to the Gamecube edition more.

Ah, they've changed that now. You just press the B-trigger to pull back the arrow and let go when ready.

I like one controler (as a gamecube would) in stead of two diffrent controlers (as wii would) for controling link. Having said that using your least prefered hand could F*** up a boss battle
