Nintendo has announced that two versions of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be released: one for Wii and one for the GameCube.
Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has revealed that in the Americas two versions of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be released: one for the Wii and the other for the Nintendo GameCube.
It had been thought that the game would be released for both consoles, with the GameCube version having native support for the Wii controller when played on the Wii. It now seems that many gamers may end up buying the game twice, if they don't wish to buy a Wii at launch.
Details on numerous versions for outside of the Americas haven't been revealed.
