Super Smash Bros. Brawl dated

Nintendo confirms December 3 release in the Americas; no word on a European date.

Speaking at the Nintendo pre-E3 press conference, Nintendo of America president, Reggie Fils-Aime announced that Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii will be released in the Americas on December 3, 2007.

This means US gamers will be able to get their hands on one of the most anticipated titles for the console just in time for Christmas. It's worrying news for European gamers though, with Nintendo clearly stating the release applied only to the "Americas" and gave no indication as to when the game will hit stores across Europe.
