Four-player action in Nintendo's latest platformer.

Nintendo has announced that its latest Mario platformer, New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be released across Europe on November 20.

The game follows the same classic 2D style of New Super Mario Bros. for Nintendo DS. Princess Peach has been kidnapped by Bowser and it’s up to Mario to save her, but this time he's not alone! Up to four players can join in the fun at the same time, playing as Mario, Luigi or either one of the Toads.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii offers a mix of cooperative and competitive play, with players working together to rescue Princess Peach, or battling for the best ranking.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii is also the first Nintendo game to feature a dynamic help system, which shows players how a level can be completed if you are stuck.

I pre-ordered the Limited Edition as soon as I saw it :D Nintendo very rarely do ltd editions of their games, so I just needed to buy this.

Also, I've never owned or completed a 2D Mario platformer before...

I no longer have a Wii but if I still had one I would get this game from day 1 tbh.
It does look really good.

Nov 20th. Also known as Next Friday. Also known as the same day that Left 4 Dead 2 and Assassins Creed II are released as well. So, no, nobody has played it yet.
