Some sad news hit the FM Live community this week, with the announcement that Sports Interactive is to reset the gameworlds. It's a decision that has baffled the hardcore players, with a year's worth of game time being completely thrown out the window. For the people who have invested time building up their manager's skills and gone to the effort of setting up youth teams, the prospect of starting from scratch is beyond a joke. For you World of Warcraft players out there, imagine your reaction if Blizzard announced that from March 2010 your character and everything you've acquired is to be deleted. You'd get some recognition for the time you'd already put into the game, but that's it. You're back to level 0 and you've got to replay a year or more of your gaming life. SEGA and Sports Interactive have said that they're working on a way to transfer skills over to the new blank slate game worlds, but if this doesn't happen I may hang up my managerial jacket for good.

Wesley Yin-Poole, Deputy Editor – C.O.P. The Recruit, DS
C.O.P. The Recruit might have been called Driver: The Recruit, a name publisher Ubisoft copyrighted back in April along with C.O.P. The Recruit. You can see why. It bears more than a striking similarity to the ill-fated Driver series: It's a GTA-style third-person open world crime game that fuses driving and on-foot shooting. What puzzles me, though, is why Ubisoft decided to release it as a C.O.P. game and not a Driver game? Surely it would have received more attention with the still well-known Driver moniker attached to it. Ubisoft currently has the rights to Driver. What will it do with it, I wonder?

James Orry, News Editor - Football Manager Live, PC
I was going to mix things up and write about how great Uncharted 2 is, but then the following happened. After a year spent in the world of Football Manager Live, my time with the game could be over. This week Sports Interactive announced that it will be resetting all game data, making everyone begin again from scratch, in March 2010. The reason for this drastic decision is to prevent the game from dying altogether, with the current player base spread too thinly over the vast selection of gameworlds. Essentially this means 12 months of virtual management - plus the time between now and the reset - will be lost. Understandably the large majority of the FM Live community is none too happy by the announcement, with many managers who've been there from the start unsure if they wish to continue. Me, well, I'm not sure. Given that the next four months are essentially dead time - whatever I do will be reset come March - the incentive to play is quickly draining away and I'm not sure if there'll be any left once Football Manager Live Mark 2 begins.

Sebastian Ford, Video Producer - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Xbox 360, PS3, PC
My Xbox 360 has returned! Gamers around the world join hands and rejoice! Well, I say it's returned but in truth it has quite obviously been replaced, and Modern Warfare 2 was the game I broke it in with. The Wednesday night session resumed, during which I managed to unlock the ninja perk and the stinger missile. I still have a long way to go yet, but this just makes me love the game more. I feel like I'm going to treasure each new weapon, each new attachment and every item - putting each through their deserved paces until I find the perfect set up. I'm currently trying out the stealthy option, combining cold blooded and ninja in an attempt to be an invisible killing force. What is everyone else currently rocking as their go-to multiplayer set up?

Played MW2 again the other day and Gravity Crash, which is brilliant. Plus I'm getting back into LBP now as I've just got it on PSP so my 5 year old daughter wanted a new level built for her on the PS3 version.

AC2 is what I've been playing while it still has some annoying traits like Grab and Drop being the same button it's far superior game to the last. Also completed Special Ops this weekend on MW2 some of the missions are plain retarded and I don't envy anyone who is trying to complete crash and burn on Veteran. The oil rig was another annoying one!

PS How far of 69 are you now GeNeCyDe1993?

I've mostly been playing Infamous this week although after a good spell last night on MW2 multiplayer my interest levels in the online mode are increasing.

A lot of Dragon Age: Origins on the PS3. Its a worrying sign as it has halted my progression with AC2. Nonetheless it will equal a good time to finish AC2 round the christmas period and DragonAge. I urgely recommend DragonAge, as it will glue you to your screen for ages. If you are thinking about getting it then consider the CE of the game. You get good in-game content and a lovely bonus disc.

Played some UC2 this weekend because of the update. Little bit of MW2 and Ratchet & Clank: ACIT.

My brother is canceling his subscription to FML because on what they want to do with it. I see it pointless to reset all the gameworlds because of new players coming into the gameworlds and moan about the money. Its a game on which takes time to win club honours such as real life.

Uncharted 2, the new map is hard to play on Survival mode as there really isn't much vertical elements to it. But overall it's a nice competitive map.

Little Big Planet, just finally got the Share trophy for playing 150 community levels, hearting 10 of them and tagging 50. Took forever!

Oh yeah, popping some caps on Battlefield Bad company 2 beta, 10 headshots in a row, bloody amazing.
