Red Steel 2 has gone gold

Off to manufacturing ahead of its March 26 release.

Ubisoft has announced that Red Steel 2, the follow-up to the sword and gun-based Wii launch title, has gone gold ahead of its planned March 26 release date.

The game, designed for Nintendo's Wii MotionPlus accessory, will be sold at £39.99 for the game only or £49.99 bundled with a Wii MotionPlus.

Look out for extended hands-on impressions later this week.
