A job advertisement from Ubisoft has revealed that a game designer is needed to help continue the Red Steel series.
Although the game hasn't exactly set the world of gaming alight, it looks like Ubisoft will be continuing the series in one way or another.
A job posting (in French) reveals that Ubisoft is seeking a game designer to help continue the Red Steel series. Obviously this could mean a sequel or perhaps a port of the game to current or next-gen platforms.
So far, there's been no comment from Ubisoft. UK gamers can experience the highs and lows of Red Steel when it goes on sale alongside the Wii on December 8.
Update: Either we're going mad or the mention of Red Steel has now been removed from the advert.

Someone needs to practice their French.
They're looking for a level designer with experience in the Adventure and RPG genres, and last time I looked, Red Steel wasn't in either.
Not to mention that the job description mentions nothing about Red Steel at all, and the job itself entails little more than writing the manual, defining the game interface and the controls of the game, with the odd review of progress with the lead designer and project director...
So any link to Red Steel (other than it being a Ubisoft ad) is pretty tenuous if you ask me. Which you didn't, but hey... ;-)
