Speaking during his GDC China keynote, Prince of Persia creator Jordan Mechner was asked by the audience how he felt the franchise would evolve.

Merchner replied: "I don't have a preconception of what the Prince of Persia game in 10 years should look like.

"I think we're at a good place because the games that have been done up to this point have been so scattered and the franchise isn't locked into one place, but I think people have feelings about which parts they like best... The next game can take the best parts of the franchise and build from there."

I agree, the last gen POP, was the best. I would love to see them upgrade the graphics and re release the last gen POP. Forget the non challenging next gen POP, it was a yawn for me.

What point is there to a game where you never die?

I'd definatley like to see a return to the more 'SoT/WW/TT' style of gameplay - I really missed the combat against mutiple enemies on the last game.

The parts where you can actually die in the game..... less infant worthy, and more for the hardcore gamer.
