Ubisoft has announced the development of Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer for the Wii. The game puts gamers back into the driver's seat of faster trucks with bigger wheels and the ability to perform crazier stunts.

“Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer is a game the fans of Monster Truck World Circuit have been restlessly waiting for,” said John Parkes, marketing director EMEA at Ubisoft. “Players will get to experience more excitement, upgraded features and the exhilarating action of steering the world’s most powerful trucks while tearing through new extreme off-road racing circuits.”

Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer features seven new tracks, racing from inner-city construction sites to out-of-town canyons. Each track promises to provide a new driving experience. Each track also features alternate routes of varying difficulty.

There's also support for up to four players in split-screen across a variety of modes including Racing, Freestyle Show-Off and Last Man Standing.

Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer is scheduled for release this autumn.
