What does 2007 hold for the Wii and Nintendo DS? Nintendo of Japan has the answer.
Dengeki Online reports that Nintendo of Japan has outlined its games currently planned for release in 2007.
Much of what Nintendo has lined-up is formed of games which have already been announced. These include The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Chibi Robo! for Nintendo DS, and Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii.
Nintendo DS:
- Yoshi's Island DS (March 8)
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 (April 12)
- Worldwide Club House Games (April 19)
- Panel De Pon DS [Tetris Attack] (April 26)
- Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 (2007)
- Archaic Sealed Heat (2007)
- More English Training (TBA)
- The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (TBA)
- Chibi Robo! Park Patrol (TBA)
- Wander Donkey DS (TBA)
Wii:
- Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn (February 22)
- Eyeshield 21 (March 8)
- Super Paper Mario (April 19)
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (2007)
- Super Mario Galaxy (2007)
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2007)
- Mario Strikers Charged (2007)
- Totsugeki Famicom Wars W [Battalion Wars 2] (2007)
- Disaster: Day of Crisis (2007)
- Wii Health Pack (2007)
- Donkey Kong Barrel Blast (2007)
- Mario Party 8 (2007)
- Project H.A.M.M.E.R. (2007)
- Wii Music (2007)
- Forever Blue (2007)
- Animal Crossing (TBA)
- Kirby (TBA)
It's worth remembering that many of these titles will likely take extra time to make their way to Europe; just because the game is listed for Japan in 2007, don't expect its release elsewhere to follow suit.

Why?
I am sooooooooooo MAAAAAD because Mario Party 8 is only for Wii!!!! I love Mario Party and was wanting to get it for Gamecube because I have one, but Nintendo is releasing all the games I wanted for Wii, like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. That forces you to get a Wii just to get one game. Doesn't Nintendo already have enough money???

End of its reign...gamecube steps down
This is a reply to chris the reason nintendo isnt making any more games for gamecube is that they have stopped production of it altogether.
