Nintendo stays quiet on Mario Super Sluggers for Europe

"No current announcements" regarding a European release for the Wii Mario Baseball title.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com Nintendo UK was unable to confirm that Wii baseball title Mario Super Sluggers will be released in Europe.

Over night the game, already set for a June release in Japan, was confirmed to be on the way to North America, but European Wii gamers are being made to wait. A Nintendo UK spokesperson told VideoGamer.com that there are "no current announcements" regarding the game's release in Europe.

Mario Super Sluggers looks to expand on the baseball offering in Wii Sports, borrowing a similar control scheme and adding more depth to the gameplay.

thats not true. its going to be released in europe somewhere at the end of the year, probably in december or early 2009 (january). but i dont think thats fair because its been released in america august (2 months ago) and japan (4 months ago). it should be released in europe this month (october) or in september. or in november.
