Link's Crossbow Training commences on December 7

European Wii gamers to get Wii Zapper and Zelda tie-in before Christmas.

The Wii Zapper is Nintendo's latest peripheral that the company hopes will bridge the gap between hardcore and casual gamers. Essentially a gun-shaped housing for the Wii-mote and Nunchuck, the Zapper will come bundled with Link's Crossbow Training - a lightgun-esque shooter from Nintendo.

As well as Link's Crossbow Training, the Wii Zapper will be compatible with a number of forthcoming titles, including Capcom's Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. The Wii Zapper will retail for €30 (approximately £20).
