Welcome to Heads-up, VideoGamer.com's weekly feature which gives you an at-a-glance run-down on the games you'll be able to buy or rent this weekend. Every Tuesday we'll pick out the best of the bunch, link to our reviews and previews and keep you in the video game loop so you have enough time to pre-order for Friday's post. Time to splash the cash.
Recommended: Ghostbusters: The Video Game - PS3, PS2
While Ghostbusters isn't quite up to the high standard of the original movie, it's far better than your average licensed title. The level of fan service is superb, the ghost trapping is excellent and the script is at times amusing. Fans will get more out of it than the rest, so if you can quote lines from the films on a whim the game's definitely worth a look.
Also worth a look
ArmA II won't be for everyone, but its hardcore military FPS gameaplay should go down very well amongst a certain group of PC gamers. We're still only really getting started in our campaign, but we doubt fans of the original or developer Bohemia will want to pass this up. Those looking for something completely different might want to pick up SEGA's Let's Tap, which is as far away from hardcore as is possible - all you do is tap a box with a Wii Remote sat on top of it. Rock Band Unplugged might be worth a look if you fancy some button tapping while on the move and Virtua Tennis 2009 on Wii will likely get a few takers thanks to the series pedigree and its use of Wii MotionPlus.
