Becomes the first video game to reach 1 million fans.
Activision has announced that Guitar Hero has become the first console video game franchise to surpass one million Facebook fans.
The milestone comes shortly after the release of Guitar Hero 5, available now for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PS2.
Guitar Hero is the No.1 best-selling third party video game franchise in North America and Europe calendar year to date. Since its release, the franchise has sold more than 38 million units worldwide - seven million in calendar year 2009.
