Zoe Mode named dev for Wii Grease video game
Big Head Games chosen for DS version.
505 Games has announced it has selected UK developer Zoe Mode and Big Head Games to develop the Grease video game for Wii and Nintendo DS respectively.
"For this project we knew we had to employ developers of a certain calibre in order to really bring the Grease magic to the world of video games," commented Ian Howe, Managing Director, 505 Games. "In Zoë Mode and Big Head Games, we feel we have found the talent required to give this film the game it deserves."
Zoë Mode, formed in 2007 out of Kuju Brighton, is best known for its work on the SingStar series, while Big Head Games has previously focused on iPhone development.
The Grease video game will allow players to sing and dance alongside Danny, Sandy, The Pink Ladies and the T-Birds. The game promises to take full advantage of the Wii's motion-sensing controls and microphone, and the DS's touch screen to create exciting gameplay for casual and family gamers.
