Believes video game consoles in the home must continue to be used for good.
EA Sports boss Peter Moore has challenged President Obama to try out EA Sports Active on Wii.
Moore's challenge follows President Obama's remarks at the annual meeting of the American Medical Association in Chicago, in which he said: "It means going for a run or hitting the gym, and raising our children to step away from the video games and spend more time playing outside."
"I applaud the President urging Americans to get off the couch and get active," said Moore. "Of course, I can’t resist pointing out that while I’ve always wholeheartedly endorsed moderation in anything you do, including playing games, it may be time for the President and his family to put their Wii to good use and fire up the 30-Day Challenge with EA SPORTS Active."
Moore also added that he believes there are far more video game consoles being used in American homes than there is exercise equipment, and it's up to "us to continue to use the platform for good".
