The development team working on the Wii version of Driver: Parallel Lines has revealed how players will tackle the game using the Wii's Remote and Nunchuck.

"On the Wii version, the control mechanic is completely new compared with other platforms (PS2, Xbox)," a member of the development team told the Guardian. "As you know, the controllers provide new avenues for creativity; for instance using the Wii Remote to select the target, master the weapon and shoot. The Nunchuck, meanwhile, will be used to drive, adjust the speed, and control the character and his gestures...

Unlike the previous versions of the game, the Wii version will include no auto-target system, instead the player will have to point and shoot. The developer also notes that the camera system has been changed.

"We have changed the camera to an OTS (over the shoulder) view; the advantage is that the experience is similar to a FPS; so it's more fun as well," said the developer.

Driver: Parallel Lines is scheduled for release for Wii across Europe on March 30.
