Gran Turismo 5 has lost its place at the top of the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart, slipping to No.4.

Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops regained the No.1 spot, followed by FIFA 11 and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

There was no room inside the Top 10 for any of the week's new releases, the highest of which was Donkey Kong Country Returns at No.13. Super Mario All-Stars is new at No.22, while the Sly Trilogy didn't make the Top 40, slumping into the Full Price PS3 chart at No.28.

The week's big mover was Ubisoft's Michael Jackson: The Experience which climbed to No.6 from No.32, and now sits once place behind Just Dance 2.

VideoGamer.com Analysis

I think everyone expected Gran Turismo 5 to be front loaded - almost all games are - but to see it fall behind older releases so soon does come as a surprise. Sales for the long-awaited racer dropped 61 per cent, but it does remain the biggest-selling single SKU of the week.

The week's major failure was Sly Trilogy, charting outside the Top 40. Let's hope work on the sequel is already well under way and the trilogy's failure won't affect its development.

Didn't Halo Reach have a similar experience but at an easier time of year?
I think Sports Champions did better than Kinect Sports too.
