There's some fun to be had with Disaster: Day of Crisis, but it's far from good and certainly not what you should be expecting from Nintendo.

Story: 7/10
The story of this game is okay for me. But sometimes it gets a bit cheesy. Who cares? I love the disaster scene.
Graphic:8/10
The graphic of Disaster is superb in Wii. Well, it amazed me. For example: when the tsunami comes, I was like "wow"... Not bad at all. However, it sometimes lack of polish in some polygons.
Sound:8/10
The music is not repetitive. Well, the game plays different music in different situation.
Gameplay: 8.5/10
Well, the game is fun. On-rail shooting + mini games + driving... I never play this kind of game. Easy pick up and play game.
Overall: 8/10
I still haven't finish the game yet.. But I think I am almost near the ending. I highly recommand this wii game to everyone!!!

Does your big ol' Plasma TV even have a composite cable for your Wii to match? That is probably why you get "input lag".
Funny, how every single comment here is dedicated to bashing your pathetic excuse for a review.
Play the game on a smaller tv or buy a ***in' composite cable.

Based on the control issues and other flaws, it seems like the game would get at least a 6 or 6.5. I haven't played it since I'm in the US, but from what I've seen it doesn't look very good. I definitely agree that a game should not get a heightened score just because it's the only game of its type, especially on a particular system.
